Mitchell Fire Department responds to Madion Il to help battle a 5 alarm fire that destroyed a warehouse that was used for recycling.
Mitchell, Ill. – First responders in the Metro East have responded to a serious crash on eastbound Interstate 270 involving a semi-trailer Monday.
The crash happened near milepost 3 and Route 203 in Mitchell Il around 4:06 p.m.

At 3:13 p.m. Friday, a man working on a Motel 6 sign at 1240 E. Chain of Rocks Road in Pontoon Beach died after falling from a bucket lift, according to Madison County Coroner Stephen Nonn
